She arrives at the compelling conclusion that: (1) There has never been an age where women have not exercised faithfully their gifting and calling in church leadership; (2) God does not discriminate based on gender in his calling and equipping people for the service of the Gospel; and (3) That women and men together have exercised leadership in every ministry through the ages.

New Testament scholar Dr. Gary Burnett considers what the Apostle Paul really said about women in leadership. With a comprehensive survey of Paul’s letters, he puts forward a positive case for Paul’s affirmation of women in all levels of ministry, while also addressing verses that seem to suggest the opposite.
